Mukhiya Mantri Border Area Development Programme(MBADP)

The main objective of the scheme is to stop migration in border areas by providing better resources for sustainable livelihood and self-employment to the families residing in 09 border development blocks of the state.

Features of the scheme- Under this scheme, along with the permissible works of BADP, skill development of local youth, activities for sustainable livelihood creation for community organizations such as SHG/Producer Group, PG/VPG/LC/VO, CLF etc., technology transfer activities for livelihood development, promotion of tourism/border tourism, cooperation in technical activities for promotion of organic farming, establishment of growth centers and innovative efforts/innovations/special schemes that are capable of livelihood development and stopping migration in border areas.

The scheme is being implemented from July 21, 2020 and the process of creation/formation of schemes under the scheme is currently underway by all the border districts.

Beneficiary:

Families residing in the 09 border development blocks of the state.
