    Introduction

    House of Himalayas is an umbrella brand to leverage all the existing brands in the state and strengthen Himalayan livelihoods by increasing sales and improving the quality of products, better branding and packaging, and create a line of premium products for National and International markets. Since the inception of the brand the House of Himalayas has achieved several milestones:

    • Registration of public limited company and conducting two board meeting and one extraordinary meeting.
    • Enhancement of share capital of the company from INR 2cr to INR 10cr to scale operations. • Applied trademarks in 23 classes and received 10 trademarks
    • Prepared financial and administrative rules of the company which were duly approved Cabinet of the state government.
    • Development of Brand Guidelines and Design guide for the brand.

    • Launch of direct-to-consumer, E-commerce website for sale of House of Himalayas products. (houseofhimalayas.com)
    • Partnership with Amazon, Jiomart, ONDC to promote products through top e-commerce platforms
    • Onboarding of House of Himalayas product on other quick commerce platforms like Blinkit, Zepto and other to expand sales.
    • Partnerships with prominent modern trade partners (Nature Basket and Le Marche) to enhance sales of selected HoH products in 10 stores across the country.
    • Enhancement of product line from 18 SKUs to 31 SKUs and adding new product categories in Handloom and Handicraft and Personal Care segment.
    • Participated in three exhibitions and trade fairs in the country with support and coordination with APEDA.
    • Hiring of dedicated 15-member team with specialized skills in modern trade, e-commerce, marketing and institutional sales including Chief Executive Officer to manage operations of the company.
    • Collaboration with processing and quality partner for adherence to quality standards of products during procurement packaging and fulfilment.
    • In process of setting up of exclusive retail stores in New Delhi, Dehradun Airport and Dehradun.

    • Positioning HoH products in prominent hotel like Ananda Rishikesh, Taj Rishikesh, Jaypee, Hayatt Regency to promote the brand.
    • Promotional gift boxes sent to all PSUs and Chief Secretaries of all states to create awareness about the brand and institutionalize cross departmental sales.

    • Development of Business plan for the company with a sales target of 50 crore till 2027.

    • Strengthened SHGs/LCon quality parameters, introduction of Food Safety Management System for ensuring utmost quality of HOH products.
    • Identification, development and designing of packaging for new products in consultation with SHGs/CLGs/LCs to integrate with the product line of House of Himalayas.

    In addition to the above activities undertaken to promote the brand in the national market, the company has also initiated work to create a Go To Market plan for international markets targeting US and Middle eastern geographies.
