Mukhyamantri Palayan Roktham Yojna(MPRY)
The main objective of the scheme is to provide self-employment opportunities to families, unemployed youth, reverse migrants, etc., residing in 474 migration affected villages identified by Rural Development and Migration Commission. This initiative aims to fill gaps in existing departmental schemes and facilitate necessary financial assistance to stop migration and promote reverse migration. There is provision in the guidelines that the Migration Commission may identify/recommend additional villages to include them in list of migration affected villages. Under the scheme, priority is given to self-employment and skill development initiatives related to agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry.
Beneficiary:
Families, unemployed youth, and reverse migrants of 474 migration-affected villages in accordance with the established guidelines.
Benefits:
Providing livelihood opportunities and community benefits to beneficiaries in accordance with the established guidelines.
How To Apply
Proposals are developed using a bottom-up approach, incorporating inputs from villagers through the relevant Block Development Officers. These proposals are then compiled, reviewed, and forwarded to the state for final approval by the District Level Screening Committee after thorough due diligence.
